Fandom #12: Saiyuki

trace_by_echoI started this one also in college. Possibly freshman year, so '03-04. I'm still waiting for the manga updates, and like Eroica, I buy Saiyuki regularly. However, my interest in fandom waned sometime in the area of '06. I got the fics I wanted, and canon's so great anyways.

~ Gensomaden Saiyuki Archive.
~ Maya. I preferred her series over her one-shots. The Gaiden-with-a-difference series I didn't read, since I still haven't read the Gaiden.
~ MJJ will win the contest of who's written most. She has two pages, one for gen or nonexplicit fic, and another for slash/yaoi and explicit fic. I particularly liked her take on the dragons in Heaven, and their society.
~ Nightfall is terrific. In particular, I liked Hir Wicked Style and Reconciled - as well as a Doku-centric fic called Pay It Forward.

~The Assistant Series, by Trensaddiction. Reincarnation-fic, Present Day Hakkai/Gojyo.
~Entanglements, in which Hakkai saves Sanzo from the traditional fate of a thousand-slayer, but only to get him into a weirder situation.
~Existential Difficulties, by Nekonexus. Abandoned fic; the group is almost remembering life in Heaven. Bonus of Hakuryuu.
~Four Shall Ride, by Treneka. On being religious analogies.
~Ne Me Quitte Pas, by Louiselux. Hakkai/Gojyo. Hakkai leaves after one of the 4 dies; Gojyo learns to live without him.
~Small Miracles, by Trensaddiction. Technically, a mpreg... but it's Jeep.
~The More Things Change, by Emungere. Crossover with Ranma 1/2. Hakkai/Gojyo. 2 of the group get cursed.
~Wake Up, by Viridian5. Reincarnation-fic; Hakkai/Gojyo, Sanzo/Goku. I think - it's been a while. Slash, explicit.
