Fandom #19: Weiss Kreuz

This fandom is Daegaer's fault. When I started reading her fics about the florist assassins and the psychic assassins that opposed them, I had to find more. Hmmm, maybe late high school, or early college? I'll call it 2002. Mostly now I just re-read old stuff, although one WIP has 230+ parts and shows no sign of stopping.
EDIT: 7/8/17: most of the old websites have disappeared, so this is just a tidying-up update to fix broken links. I'm also making it clearer which "Aya" is being referred to by sticking with Ran for male Aya, and Aya-chan for female Aya.

~Arcana, by Aoe. One take on Crawford's backstory, using Tarot cards.
~Half a World Away, by S1ncer1ty. A very short fic - Knight and Ran pine for each other, then meet again.
~Here and Now, by Emungere. Crawford's backstory (yes, another one) when he was young at Rosenkreuz.
HET:
~Scarlet Ribbons, by Jessi Albano. Aya-chan/Schuldig. While she's in her coma, Aya-chan has a persistent visitor.
SLASHY CRACK-FIC:
~The Alternate, by Viridian_5. In which the Crashers find Ran again.
~The Knack, & How to Get It, by Penelope-Z. Schuldig must have consensual sex with Yohji, or all of Schwarz will die. Neither Schuldig nor Yohji have any skills at dating.
~Role Reversal, by J.M. Torres. Weiss takes turns "kidnapping" Schwarz members and using them for sex. Schwarz is happy to oblige.
~You Could Be The One, by Viridian_5. Ran has never been wooed like this before. A surprisingly plausible Ran/Farfarello.

FICS: SERIES AND LONGFIC
~Alles Schwarz, by Mami. This series, or arc, covers Schwarz from before its official formation through the Gluhen series, and gives them plenty of Talented antagonists as the team decides to break away from Rosenkreuz. The central pairing is Crawford/Schuldig.
~Alice, by Mami. On a mission, Ken falls on a mirror, and suddenly the world is different. Extra kudos for the twist ending. Ken/Schuldig.
~Glass Houses, by Viridian 5. I must say, it's chapter 215 that made it worth it to me (that chapter explains how the AU came to be). The timeline diverts when Aya-chan, Manx and Sakura are all killed during the fall of the tower, and Ran falls apart. It's Schwarz who really rescues him; and in turn, he ends up rescuing them from their canon futures. Ran/Farfarello and Crawford/Schuldig are the big pairings, but there's many others. Currently well over 300 chapters, and a still active WIP.
~Gefallene Engel, by Mami. Schwarz has enemies, and when they get close, Schwarz borrows Yohji in an attempt to prevent their own demise. Lots of character death in this one. The end has a shaky triad of Yohji-->Schuldig<---Farfarello.
~Girl, by Viridian_5. Ran wakes up a woman, and slowly realizes why. An excellent exploration of someone who is grappling with their gender and how they connect their identity to their behavior (I'm being vague to avoid spoilers).
~The Harmonics Arc, by Aoe. Yohji/Schuldig; the two get to know one another through the unusual event of Yohji possessing Schuldig when Yohji is in a coma... and it's hard not to know someone down to their core when you're sharing a body. The first two fics are finished but the final one is a stalled WIP.
~Inertia, a 30-part arc by Emungere, about Yohji & Schuldig's unconventional romance.
~Mars Assassins, by Daegaer. A Victorian space opera AU ( I know!), in which the members of Schwarz take a cruise-spaceship to the Mars colonies, and wreak havoc there. 
~Seeing the Light and Embracing the Shadows, the two-part Chiaroscuro series by Aoe. The first fic is a breezy miscommunication/pining Ken/Yohji story. The second is a more serious fic (and is possibly the one story ever where I condone a victim and his seducers getting together) about Ran and his eventual triad with Schuldig and Crawford.

AUTHORS AND ARCHIVES:
~Boys Next Door Archive has a lot of fic that was otherwise lost when the author's sites went down. I appreciate that the New World Order arc is still there, as well as The Other Side arc. 
~Obviously, Daegaer. Find her in my Author recs. Don't miss the Schwarzkinder!fics (mpreg, Nagi/Omi, Schuldig/Farfarello), and her crossovers with Good Omens. 
~Try out Viridian 5's stuff. Of course I've already recommended a few fics, Glass Houses series, but there's also a ton of other fic there, as well as recommendations.
