Fandom #45: Good Omens

I'm so pleased that one of my first fandoms has, with the release of its miniseries in May 2019, captured the attention of so many talented authors. I also love that everyone's being so cordial - there's no disagreement that the point of this story is the love between an angel and a demon, and the only room for nitpicking has to do with where they are on the asexuality-sexuality spectrum.
Written based only on book canon:
~Get religion quick (cause you're looking divine), by brinnanza. Aziraphale is determined to be fine with his unrequited love for Crowley - surely unrequited, because after all, demons can't love, can they?
~High Treason, by Tomo Trillions. Crowley is punished for aiding/loving the enemy; the ensemble cast begins a rescue.
~Innocence and Experience, by Louiselux. Aziraphale shows Crowley how this sex business is done.
~Living Arrangements, by Afrai. Aziraphale and Crowley get their punishments for interfering with the last battle. Sad, with an ambiguous ending (it was to me, anyway - I didn't know what *spoiler* would, or could, do for Crowley).
~My Little Ethereal/Occult Beings, by lovelyzelda. Crowley and Aziraphale visit the My Little Ponies, as ponies. Ponies learning to swear and gavotte! Crowley poking his eyes with his glasses because he has no hands! The Smooze!
~Remembering Monsters, by Daegaer. Heaven and Hell aren't satisfied without some punishment for their wayward employees. Two Japanese children feel a strange pull toward each other, and struggle with memories of a past existence.
~Such surpassing brightness, by Handful_of_Silence. Turns out Aziraphale's been a gay icon of the church for years, and Crowley somehow failed to notice.
~The Best Days of Their Lives series, byDaegaer. This takes Louiselux's Baby Snakes mpreg story and runs with it.
Written after the miniseries:
~A Honored Guest, by Strawberriesandtophats. The owners of a fortunate sushi shop in SoHo aren't fools.
~Anthony J. Crowley, Retired Demon and AirBnB Superhost, by TheOldAquarian. Hilarious outsider POV, via AirBnB reviews.
~Birds of a Feather, by Idiopathicsmile. Crowley's forgotten the avian-natured courtship rituals of angels.
~By Definition, and its sequel Long-Term, by idiopathicsmile. Oddly enough, Crowley's the romantic among them, because Aziraphale treats sex as just another activity, rated much lower than a good meal. I like the way they figure out what works for them, since Aziraphale is asexual but loves to make Crowley happy. The sequel is an outsider's POV on their pre-wedding planning.
~Laws of Aesthetics, by dorothy_notgale & Tromperie. A role-reversal AU, because that works surprisingly well (Aziraphale, after all, is so very fond of physical pleasures like food and books, and Crowley is a fervent humanist at heart). They meet over the years before the Apocalypse, and learn each other's idiosyncrasies.
~Love Hath Made Thee A Tame Snake, by thehoyden. The one where Crowley is territorial as a snake, and Aziraphale uses that to his benefit in his bookshop.
~Spoonful, by Demorra. One never forgets a good nanny. Warlock may not have been an important character, but he gets his due here.
~Thy Kingdom Come, by Shanastoryteller. Crowley was just following orders, but somehow he's become the King of Hell after Lucifer burned up (and in doing so created the atmosphere, so that was lucky). This means millennia of deceiving his angelic friend, and eventually being ordered to create the Antichrist. Bonus of an interesting OFC as Adam's birthmother.
